Our Client’s Testimonials

Sunday June, 20th from "Z" :
On behalf of all four of us who came unannounced last night - thank you both for the warm reception and gracious hospitality. We all enjoyed the 'together' time. I'll say it again - I really love the layout, spaciousness, and 'feel' of that studio. It's golden in my book. Lastly - all of us commented on how much we enjoyed your choices in music. Just keep doing what you're doing and make people happy. Much love to you both. "Z"

Joe:
Took my first group Salsa dance lesson with Patricia last night. I was very reluctant to do this on my own so I brought one of my female friends so I would at least know one person. There were several others that came without a partner and much to my surprise; Patricia was so good at breaking the ice with fun, laughter and rotating partners that I am now also joining her Argentine Tango class every Wednesday evening alone. In one hour she corrected everything wrong I thought Salsa dancing was and did it in a way with so much humor and fun I don't know if 2 days a week are even enough. The studio is huge, beautiful and very comfortable. I look forward to many more weeks/months of training with her.
Brian:
I am taking an East Coast Swing class and love it! I can't believe how much I have learned from just two weeks of classes! Patricia is a fantastic teacher and knows how to unveil just the right bit of information for you to absorb. Highly recommend!
Bruce:
Thank you for holding the Milonga on July 30. We had a great time. Good music, a nice big floor, a nicely decorated room, and best of all, a very friendly group of people!! We hope there will be more of these in the future.
Dennis:
I love the House of Dance and Patricia Monico. I have fun, I have been challenged, and Patricia is so patient with learning students.
John:
Just started beginning ballroom dance. A wonderful place to learn and feel comfortable doing it!
Dale:
Love the House of Dance
Mary Ann:
Thank you for your help with our East Coast Swing. You are a fabulous teacher and very patience. Thank you for sharing this part of our journey with us. I have mentioned your classes to several church members and I hope more people will come and enjoy your classes.
Sara:
My now-husband and I were dead-set on dancing to CAKE's "Stickshifts and Safetybelts," which is a ridiculously fast and almost silly song for one's First Dance. I soon realized we'd never be able to DIY the dance moves with help from YouTube, so I made a few calls and then had a meeting with Patricia, who said she could whip something up for us. Patricia has an energetic yet patient and calm demeanor, and we made a lot of headway into the choreography after our very first lesson. We practiced multiple times a week in our apartment and later at the gym when we incorporated more movement into the dance. We were ready for the spotlight by the end of our fourth lesson, and our performance at the wedding was flawless. I only regret that I forgot to tell someone to get it on video!
Lauren:
Patricia is an excellent dance teacher. She choreographed my father-daughter dance and it was spectacular. Such a highlight of the wedding!
Carl:
I love this studio. The instructor, Patricia, is amazing, the people are awesome, the dancing is fun. She is a patient teacher that loves what she teaches and it shows. I am taking swing and salsa and think I've found a new love
Sheila:
Love Patricia! She's dedicated to teaching and has the patience of a saint. Highly recommend.
Candace:
I am currently taking the beginner's salsa class and it is SO MUCH FUN. But hard work.  It is great if you want to dance confidently at the next shindig. The teacher is very professional and is very experienced.  The only problem with these dance classes is, they are habit forming.   You will want to sign up for another dance class after it ends.  I know I will.
Kevin:
Patricia and Ron worked together to develop muscle memory into my two left feet. I learned a lot and had fun. I see myself continuing my lessons and expanding my repertoire.
Boni:
Our friends turned us on to Patricia's great House of Dance!  We began with the Eastern Swing, and have totally become hooked!  We went on to Eastern Swing II and III, the Night Club Two-Step and now we are signed up for the Foxtrot and the Waltz.  What we can tell you is this: Patricia is fun but amazing at her craft, and at teaching it to us, even when we have 'two left feet.' Affordable, and really a great time to spend learning with your honey or as a single.  We have also met some very dear people who are committed to looking 'smooth' out on the dance floor.  We have taken our beginner's dance class knowledge and already impressed people at clubs and private parties!  Whoo-hoo!
Cristel:
Absolutely love House of Dance!!  My husband and I started at this fantastic studio 3 years ago as a way to force ourselves to work less hours and used it as our date night. Although my husband never liked to dance he agreed to at least try. Well, we are now retired and still attending ballroom and Latin dance classes. Because Patricia and her other instructors are so patient and excellent at what they do, taking classes is fun and a great source of exercise without feeling like you are exercising.
The facility is superb and has the largest dance floor I've ever seen for instructional purposes. The studio rivals any banquet hall or hotel with respect to the dance floor. I've taken ballet classes for over 19 years at several studios, to include the Academy of Ballet in San Francisco, and Patricia's House of Dance puts them all to shame. Friday night dance parties at the studio are a great way to practice steps, have fun and meet new people. Where else can you go to get 3-4 hours of entertainment and fun for only $10 a person!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!
John:
My bride (of 40 years) & I started taking ballroom dance lessons last May and love our weekly lessons with Patricia.  She is a crack up and great at getting us guys to lead and not look at our feet:-). We've made it through three 6 week classes of ballroom and really enjoy dancing the waltz, foxtrot & tango.  We have recently been taking swing classes and are having a blast.  She and her associate Ron are excellent instructors and make learning fun and fairly easy.  It is amazing to watch her flawlessly dance the female or male part while teaching her students.  She keeps the lessons fun and productive.
House of Dance has several types of dance classes to choose from.  In addition to the above they currently have classes in Zumba, salsa, hustle, Polynesian, and of course private lessons for many others.
They also host dance parties almost every Friday evening which are great opportunities to practice what you are learning, remember what you previously learned and meet some wonderful people.
